How do I fix my New Era Cap?

My Chicago White Sox Official On Field Cap got wet and the water got to the brim. Now the brim is extremely flexible and I have no clue why it’s like that. Is there a way to fix the brim so it’s not so flexible?
it has cardboard in it shape it and dry it, or let it dry
I suggest you put it between two cement blocks – right now — it should dry while it is flat – as perfect as you can – then you can shape it later. Else if you try to shape it and let it dry it will have deformities in it -
Use spray starch . Then form and let dry . Thats what we use in the Marines for our covers. (Just a FYI) Marines dont call caps, caps they are called covers.
PS. dont soak it with the starch. Just dampen with water and spray the starch on lightly. You do it heavy and you’ll get white streaks
